In The Media & Newsletter » Questions should be asked after the murder journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia
To The Editor,
I sincerely hope the European Union supports the Maltese authorities in tracking down the killer of investigative blogger and journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
This shocking murder led to the EU hierarchy vowing to ensure Malta finds the "barbarous" assassins of Daphne.
No stone should be left unturned in the hunt - journalists cannot be silenced, or we lose one of our cornerstones of democracy.
Questions must be asked - we cannot allow 'forces', wherever they may be to shut down free speech and journalism.
