In The Media & Newsletter » Margot Parker MEP - Sadly, we are firmly into phase two of scaremongering
I note that Siemens will stay for another 10 years at the Ruston Works site in central Lincoln after it signed a new lease.
This is great news for the company, 800 employees and Lincolnshire itself, and again shows the faith in British manufacturing and design.
Sadly, we are firmly into phase two of scaremongering. Rather than get behind Brexit and fight for the country the Government is caving into the bully boy tactics of the EU, while much of the evidence from UK companies contradicts its fuddled thinking and the doom and gloom forecasts from sections of the media and indeed, from our leaders.
The EU can threaten all it likes, the blitz spirit of the Brits is still in our DNA and we will not be bullied.
