What a wonderful and inspiring read your article about Leicester typewriters and Churchill was.
I, for one, did not realise that many of his greatest speeches and historic orders which changed the course of the Second World War, were written on typewriters made in Leicester.
The piece was a delightful tale of a day out at the London and Cabinet War Rooms, and the part this great city of Leicester played in the war effort - those grand Imperial typewriters being made right here.
I am sure many readers also felt a jolt of pride as they read the article.
